Hitchcock Equine Emergency’s call radius includes all properties within roughly an hour drive from the Horse District of downtown Aiken. If you are unsure if your emergency is included in our call radius, please call and check- we are happy to clarify or help you find an option for emergency services in your area.

Hours and Availability

Hitchcock Equine Emergency is open Thursday- Monday, 3 weeks out of the month. As an emergency only practice staffed by a single veterinarian, we cannot be available every day, but strive to provide prompt, exceptional emergency care when we are open. If you experience an equine emergency when we are not open, please contact your primary veterinarian.

Our anticipated opening date is mid-September 2026.
